Ebon Elegance Blackwood is a Hit!

I was waiting for a new model of the Ellington fountain pens, and was pleasantly suprised when I found that there was a new one, this time a wooden one. I have several wooden fountain pens in my collection, so I knew I would be purchasing this pen for my collection. I think of it as my wooden Stealth.

The color is black, as is the metal trim, and it's the only black wooden fountain pen in my collection. And, it is no suprise that it writes as smoothly as my other Ellington fountain pens. I was pleasantly suprised to get six ink cartridges instead of the usual three that have come with my other pens. And, the cartridges are a little longer, so that means more ink.

Thanks, Ellington Pens, for another great pen. And, I have already ordered the Maplewood pen. It's arrived, and I'll break it out as soon as I finish an ink cartridge in my Ebon Elegance Blackwood.

Finely made fountain pen for the price.
Looks great, well-made, and smooth writing nib.

Elegant

A beautiful, elegant pen, which writes smoothly, no scratching. The only cloud on the horizon is that I ordered a medium nib, which is apparently what I was sent, according to the invoice, but to me it seems more like a fine. Just to bear in mind if you really must have a medium thick nib.

Lovely black ebon wood pen. Looks very much like my stealth matte black fountain pen. So, gifted it to my dad, as the stealth pen i bought last year does me fine. Bravo Ellington!
