I am really, really enjoying my Ellington Pen! It makes me think of my youth when I used a fountain pen all the time. It's requiring a bit of readjusting, as it's forcing me to slow down when I'm writing which has reminded me that my script is actually legible when I don't rush it. This old man is going to enjoy writing a real letter again!

I absolutely love this pen. The case is beautifully made, and feels comfortable to hold. The nib glides across the page, and the ink flow is smooth and consistent, a pleasure to write with.
I have purchased a bent flex alternative nib, and cannot wait to try it.

I’ve purchased a total of 10 Ellington Pens (don’t worry, I can quit anytime 😜). Some for me, some as gifts. I cut my teeth on Ellington Pens as my gateway into the Fountain Pen World. Let’s just say, I have a new hobby. I’ve purchased more expensive pens and the Ellington I’ve always come back to. It writes right at start up, doesn’t skip and makes my hand writing look so much better than it is! In this digital age, giving a hand written note or letter takes on a whole new meaning by the recipient. The Clarity series is a blast. It’s big, but boy does it right sooooo smooth!!! It’s actually fun and when I let people write with it, it never fails to hear an “oh wow!”

Of the 10 Ellington Pens I have purchased, there were two issues and the company’s customer service department was right on it. In this world of e-commerce, one takes a dive into unknown waters and hopes for the best when you send your payment. Ellington without question is a safe bet to purchase. Safe bet in as far as their products and customer service should you run into a problem. Both Diane and Krystal went above and and beyond in helping resolve these issues with easy no hassle outcomes. This is my 3rd Ellington pen and I love it. To begin with I wasn’t sure about its stubby feel in my hand, but it’s so comfortable and the clear plastic is so stylish, enabling me to see the working parts and ink colour.
The flow is just as efficient as with my other Ellingtons - the flow of my writing isn’t interrupted - I can just pick up the pen and write, no matter how many days in between use. All my other fountain pens, have to be cajoled back into life by taking the them apart and recharging the converters. Not so the Ellington - my fingers have never been so ink free!
The clear case of the Pure Clarity is rather smart too. I really do love it!

I have been purchasing Ellington Fountain Pens for the past several years. I have six in my collection. I am not a collector of pens, but I have been so impressed with the way they write, I am hooked. My latest vice is the ‘wood’ pens and now have both the Rosewood and Maplewood Harmony fountain pens. I just purchased several more as gifts. These pens just feel perfect in my hand. The balance is wonderful and the weight at 1.2oz does not tire the hand after pages of writing. The presentation in the matching wooden case makes this a fantastic gift. If you write for a living, or just like to have a good writing tool for those occasional letters & cards, try any of the Ellington pens, but there is nothing like the feel of a wood barrel.
