Great Pen, Ok Journal

Pen took a little bit to get used to but with practice I’m really liking it. The journal is nice, but the pen holder loop fell off and, upon inspection, I discovered it is only held in place by a small sticky strip of glue. Not a very secure way of holding your $40 pen. Also, two loops would hold the pen in a much better position (one loop for top of pen and one loop for bottom of pen). Until the loop fell off, the pen would dangle vertically from the journal due to the weight of the pen. Somewhat disappointing because the paper in the journal is nice and the pen flows nicely on it, but one of the features that caused me to get the journal was the pen holder. All in all, I’m so far satisfied with the pen purchase. Please make necessary improvements to the journal.

I have nearly 100 fountain pens (I' a fanatic}. Amoung my collection are pens from Italy, France, UK, Japan and China. None out perform my Ellington pens. I'n no Nibmeister but Iinvariably need to fuss with the nibs. Not the Ellingtons. Out of the box they are as smooth as I could hope for. The feeds are very generous, yielding a very wet free flowing line. Thanks for producing these first class world quality pens in the US.
